Release of the 2006 Spyrock Special Fresh Hop Brew and Cask Conditioned Potter Valley Pale Ale
September 22nd, 2006 @ 5:00PM Once a year, we are able to produce a fresh hop brew with a blend of Nugget and Cascade hops grown the Spyrock region near Laytonville. Within 24 hours of harvest, the hops go from vine to the kettle and are brewed in a pale ale. This technique creates a smooth beer with hop flavor and aroma and minimal bitterness. Enjoy this ale while you can, it is a single batch and it will go fast! Also available on September 22nd, 2006 is cask conditioned Potter Valley Pale Ale. This Pale Ale completed fermentation in the keg and is served at cellar temperature, through a traditional beer engine, for a smooth, mellow flavor.
